School Board
The St. Rose
School Board serves in an advisory role to the principal and pastor and is the
policy-making body in matters pertaining to St. Rose School. The policies and decisions of the
School Board shall be effective only after they have been ratified by the
pastor.
The purpose of the
St. Rose School Board encompasses the following:
- to direct the implementation of
diocesan policy in the school
- to ensure the school maintains a
focus on its Catholic identity
- to promote a fulfilling
relationship between the parish and school
- to assist in program evaluation,
especially curriculum
- to advise the parish on the maintenance
and safety of facilities
- to assist in fundraising and
marketing
- to assist in preparing the annual
school budget
8. to
assist in writing and implementing a strategic plan for the school
The School Board meets on the 3rd Tuesday of every
month at 6:30pm in room 105.
